Blur has just shared a couple of bonus tracks from their comeback album, Darren’s songTitled “The Rabbi” and “The Swan”. The songs appear on the deluxe edition of their first LP in eight years, which arrived just a few days earlier.
While “The Rabbi” talks about being lost and wondering about the “heroes of tomorrow,” “The Swan” is more personal. On the final track, Damon Albarn sings about always being with someone even after a relationship ends with lyrics like, “Do you miss me now that I’m gone? / Know I’ll always be here / Even though I should let you go.” Stream both songs below.

He described the project as “the first legitimate project [Blur] album since then [1999’s] 13Because of the collaboration with guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree who brought it all together.
