Ed Sheeran added Eminem to the equation for the Detroit leg of his ongoing “Mathematics Tour,” as the pair performed “Lose Yourself” and “Stan” in front of the rapper’s hometown crowd.

“I wondered if I could play you a cover of Eminem’s song tonight,” Sheeran began. “I think you know that. We rehearsed it today. We’ll see how it goes.” After playing the intro to “Lose Yourself” and rocking admirably from the first few lines, Slim Shady takes the stage to finish the opening verse.
