Hard Rockers Dirty Honey have shared their new single “You Won’t Take Me Alive”, the first single from their upcoming album, Commas cannot be found.

The track premiered last month as part of TNT’s coverage of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals and is now receiving an official release across digital platforms. It’s structured around a slender, strut guitar as singer Mark Labelle howls and scoffs with his utmost arrogance.

“The best tune I’ve heard in the past decade,” Labelle enthused about guitarist John Noto’s stunning ax work. “The song is full of sex and swagger, but still has the heft and fun that Dirty Honey provides.”

Added Notto: “You Won’t Take Me Alive” was an instrumental idea that I tried out on bass, drums, and guitar in my home studio. I brought it to the band, we wrote a new chorus, and it was done quickly. [Producer] nick [DiDia] I rented some old amps and they really helped me get the wicked sound and attitude I wanted for the jack.”
