The Eagles will embark on a finals tour starting later this year.
Featuring Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt, with Vince Gill and Deacon Fry, The Long Goodbye for the Eagles will be the culmination of more than 50 years of touring. On the upcoming trip, the band intends to “perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands. The tour is expected to continue until 2025.”
The tour’s initial announcement today includes 13 dates, starting at Madison Square Garden on September 7. Fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steely Dan will open each show.
Live Nation ticket pre-sale is set for Wednesday, July 12 (use access code legend), with a general sale on Friday, July 14 via Ticketmaster.
Once tickets sell out, you can also search for seats on The Eagles tour via StubHub, orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect Program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be above or below face value, depending on demand.
“The Eagles have had a miraculous 52-year journey, performing for people all over the world; keeping music alive in the face of tragic losses, upheaval, and setbacks of many kinds,” the band said in a statement. “We know how fortunate we are, and we are truly grateful. Our Long Walk has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed of. But, everything has its time, and it’s time for us to close the circle.
