Fiona Apple covers Idaho song on This American Life: Stream

Fiona Apple made her music production debut in 2023 with a cover of the official Idaho state song “Here We Have Idaho” for NPR’s This American Life.

In the May 26 episode titled “Jane Doe,” Apple’s cutthroat rendition follows a story about a 19-year-old intern for the Idaho State Legislature who reported being raped by state representative Aaron von Ellinger in 2021, and the aftermath she suffered after his audience.
