Frank Ocean pulled out of Coachella Weekend 2 as the headliner for Sunday night. It will be replaced by Blink-182.

“After suffering a leg injury on the festival grounds in the week leading up to Week 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still determined to perform, and in 72 hours the show was reworked out of necessity,” a representative for the singer said. In a statement released on Wednesday.

“On the advice of the doctor, Frank is unable to perform the second weekend due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.”

In his own statement, Frank Ocean described his first weekend collection as “messy”, adding, “There is some beauty in chaos. Not that I intended to show it but I enjoyed being there and I’ll see you soon.”

Ocean reportedly injured his leg in a bike accident that occurred at the Coachella arena in the days leading up to the first weekend. Presumably, the injury caused Ocean to reduce one-weekend set production; Instead of the impressive performance he had allegedly planned, the singer spent part of the set sitting still. He also decided not to live broadcast the performance.

Blink-182, who played a surprise set over weekend one of Coachella, will fill in for Ocean as the Sunday night frontrunner to close out the second weekend.
