Metallica scheduled a week-long residency at Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band will perform live from Monday, April 10th to Thursday, April 13th, sit down to chat with Kimmel on an episode, and take in “any other fun Jimmy has in store for us,” they said in a statement.
The residency coincides with the release of the band’s new album 72 seasons. On April 14, the record is already poised to become one of Metallica’s best releases in a while thanks to song of the week “72 Seasons” and heavy hit of the week “If Darkness Had a Son.” Metallica is even a star a result’Latest cover story, which you can check out here.
Later this year, the band will embark on their “M72 World Tour,” a worldwide series of shows running through 2024 that promises unique setlists and backing acts at every concert.
