After the health crisis, many hotel establishments want to reinvent themselves and try to break codes by claiming to be living spaces to attract local customers. Bordeaux Renaissance goes above and beyond and puts everything in its place to bring authentic feelings to its visitors and the people of Bordeaux.
“When you enter the hotel, you pass historic silos dating back to 1910. Left in their pristine condition, they take you through the history of the area. To enhance this exceptional outdoor space, a special playlist of resonance and reverberation plays. This marks the beginning of the Renaissance experience.”Presents Maëlle Borredon, Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Marriott Collection opened in June 2021 at the foot of the Cité du Vin, in the heart of one of Bordeaux’s trendiest districts: Bassins à flot. It was named the fourth most beautiful hotel in the world by the Hôtel & Lodge Awards in the “Architecture” category, architecture designed by the agency COSA. It is also distinguished by its interior decoration, which bears the signature of Michael Malaparte, and the presence of many works of art. Stylish and elegant accommodation, the Caffè Shop and its hidden oasis, the rooftop with a 360-degree view with its cocktail bar, the Italian restaurant named after Gina Bordeaux and its panoramic indoor pool, but also the meeting rooms and showcasing co-working, nothing is left to chance in this hotel that puts the joy of its visitors in the first place.
Renaissance Bordeaux stands out as a place of passions that also seduces locals with its many events with its promises of proximity and exclusivity. “We organize rooftop specials called ‘Sunset by Gina’, with, among others, Oxmo Puccino and Synapson Cut Killer …, but we also have a cultural and musical program such as ‘Gina Comedy Show’ that welcomes the prequel – the premiere of Roman Frayssinet Or pool parties entrusted to the Bordeaux groups »Maëlle Borredon confides.
Team, passion vector
The desire to provide an experience and a high quality of service is in the DNA of the team. This corporate culture is instilled on a daily basis by Cedric Decaudin, Managing Director of Renaissance. He puts his great experience – resulting from an atypical career all over the world, in all kinds of tourism establishments – at the service of hotel development. Horizontal management, benevolence and family atmosphere, it creates a fertile ground for innovation. “It unites every member of the team, transmitting their energy to us and pushing us to be creative and daring.”Maëlle Borredon testifies.
In 2023, the Foundation intends to continue to revamp its customers’ experience to create more emotions than ever before. This year, he plans to go above and beyond to impress them and give them real sensations.
