An amazing music festival called Power Trip featuring the biggest names in rock and metal has just been announced: Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden and Tool. The event is scheduled for three days from October 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Power Trip is produced by Goldenvoice, the same people who bring you Coachella every year. The vibe is similar to the classic rock festival Desert Trip that took place in 2016, where only two bands play each night, against dozens of acts. Fans can register for tickets starting at $599 on the official Power Trip website.
Friday night (October 6th) will see Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden perform. On Saturday (October 7), AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne will take the stage. And on Sunday, October 8, Metallica and Tool will wrap up the event.

While the full lineup is mind-blowing, the fact that Osbourne and AC/DC are playing should really catch your eye.
Ozzy recently announced that he was retiring from touring due to his various health issues, though he left open the possibility of playing one-off shows like this one.
AC/DC, meanwhile, hasn’t played a show since 2016, and their most recent date featured Axl Rose as lead singer. This gig will mark the legendary band’s premiere with classic frontman Brian Johnson returning to the band.
