Marvel has shared the first trailer for guardians of the galaxy vol 3, last entry in GotG Triple. In addition to bringing the trilogy to an end, the film likely marks writer/director James Gunn’s final contribution to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he was recently appointed as the new head of DC Studios.
Set on a cinematic version of Spacehog’s “In the Meantime,” the preview doesn’t reveal much about the movie’s plot. However, what sets it up is that our heroes are in for one hell of an emotional journey. “We’re all going to fly away, one last time,” says Rocket (Bradley Cooper). Forever, that beautiful sky.
The Guardians have been decked out in new outfits based on classic comic book designs, and have landed on a planet of humanoid animals – likely Counter-Earth, the experimental world created by antagonists High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji). Whatever brought them here seems to be connected to Rocket’s mysterious origins. The adventure will not only force Raccoon to literally confront his maker, but lead him back to his long-lost love, sentient water otter Lady Lila.
Along the way, Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), a tough teen (Vin Diesel), Nebula (Karen Gillian), Mantis (Boom Klementieff), Drax (Dave Bautista) and the rest of the Sentinels will have to come to terms with Gamora’s new kind (Zoe Saldaña). ) picked it up Avengers: Endgame. To top it all off, a powerful new character named Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) brings his golden face onto the scene.

On May 5th, 2023, the film also sees the return of Sean Gunn as Kraglin and Elizabet Debicki as Aisha, as well as introducing Maria Bakalova as the voice of Cosmo the Spacedog.
