Elizabeth Bourne shot 49.3 for the seventh time on the Social Security budget

It has become routine: Prime Minister Elizabeth Bourne again on Wednesday, November 30, invoked Article 49.3 of the Constitution in order to pass the Social Security budget, without a vote.

This is the seventh time that a head of government has used this legislative weapon, more than Manuel Valls who used it six times during his time in Matignon.

The left-wing coalition, the Ecological and Social Union of the New People (Nupes), has announced that it will present a joint proposal for censorship, which will delay the adoption of the text.
