“I think Punk Rock Bowling is important because it’s an annual meeting space for people from all over the world from the punk rock community, and I hope what we’re doing inspires people to continue believing in those ideals that have always been political,” said festival organizer Sean Stern, who is also a founding member. in the Youth Brigade. “We live in really crazy, weird, uncertain times. When I got into the punk game it was always about protests and calling people out and I think it continues to do that to this day.”
He continued, “That’s why it’s important to support all these new, young bands and I hope that’s what Punk Rock Bowling can do: It gives them a chance to come and see bands that we hope will inspire them to start playing music. And it gives older people like myself the chance to be inspired and say something.” I am glad to see that kids are carrying on traditions and getting out there to try and fight the chaos that we see throughout our society and all over the world. Globalism.'”
